Abstract

The appearance of nonanalytical, logarithmic terms in the collision frequency in Lyapunov coefficients of random field-driven Lorentz gas was analyzed. The effect of increase in collision frequency with the magnitude of applied electric field due to long-time correlations was observed. The effect was studied by kinetic theory modelling and computer simulations.
