In his thesis methods of analysis of surface diffusion and crystal growth were developed and applied to various systems. Among the problems studied in the thesis is diffusion of gallium atoms at the surface of gallium arsenide and the growth of the multilayer immiscible system of lead telluride and cadmium telluride.
The ceremony was held on Wednesday the 19th of December 2018 at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland.
