EMLG/JMLG joint meeting

07.09.2017

The 2017 joint EMLG/JMLG meeting will be hosted by the University of Vienna, and will take place from the 10th to 14th of September 2017.

The European Molecular Liquids Group was founded in 1981 in London as a network of researchers interested in the study of the structure, dynamics, and interactions of molecules in liquids by experimental, theoretical and simulation techniques. The focus of the Association is on molecular aspects of fluids in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Since its foundation, the EMLG has established 34 international conferences as a platform for information exchange between researchers and students. This year's joint meeting with the Japanese Molecular Liquids Group, organized by Sofia Kantorovich and Marcello Sega and supported by the Faculty of Physics and Springer takes place at the University of Vienna 10-14 September, with about hundred participants from all over the world, and the special focus on complex colloids.

The invited speakers for the conference are:

Albert Philipse (Utrecht University)

Philip Camp (University of Edinburgh)

Francesco Sciortino (Sapienza University of Rome)

Stefano Sacanna (New York University)

Athanassios Panagiotopoulos (Princeton University)

Ralph Colby (Penn State University)

Susumu Okazaki (Nagoya University)

Laura Cantù (University of Milano)

Christoph Dellago (University of Vienna)

Christos Likos (University of Vienna)

Kay Saalwächter (University of Halle-Wittenberg)
